![]() ![]() It seems that my previous script vpn-up.sh wasn't being run correctly due to CRLF problems (i think i created the file on a windows machine). !!! but only by running openvpn from the command line and then typing ipconfig set tap0 DHCP from another terminal window. Sorry yes i've been using 'ipconfig set tap0 DHCP' without the '-', ipconfig returns a parameter error if i use the '-' One thing is there shouldn't be a dash before set in the ipconfig command. (i have already downloaded and are running the latest tap/tun drivers for leopard from ) Something with the tap0 interface not working. ![]() ![]() conf file (excluding the call to ipconfig that is) and that connects no problem. I tried to connect to my openvpn server from a windows machine, with the same. I have tried setting the IP address of the device manually i.e. I can see a call to 'ipconfig -set tap0 DHCP' resets the openvpn transcaction but i do not get an IP address allocated I dug a bit into the openvpn code and it looks like it's failing after an attempt to write to the TAP device error code EIO(5), probably becuase it's not ready. Can't seem to get it to aquire an IP address correctly. Yes it looks most likely a problem with the tap device. It's just telling you what modes the tap0 interface has enabled, the MAC address, and the process ID of openvpn. You're getting what I get if I don't run the vpn-up script. ![]()
